Nsibidi is a pictogram language that was introduced during the 5th century. It is composed of around 1000 pictograms which were drawn on the ground, the skin, masks and textile or as an artistic expression. This dedicated Sarong Collection is paying tribute to this beautiful cultural heritage.
Love and family Nsibidi symbols are at the center of Atai sarongs. The pastel yellow used in them reinforce the tender and poetic message of their symbols. Atai a goddess commonly known by the Efık people as the ‘Goddess of creation’.
The sarong is very versatile and multi-purposed. It’s clothing, it’s a blanket, it’s a towel, it’s a privacy screen, a swim cover up, a bed sheet, a baby blanket, a scarf, a ceremonial dress, a beach blanket, home decor and so on!

We recommend hand or machine wash at 30 degrees, with gentle detergent.
